The Ipswich Art Society is one of the country's foremost exhibiting organisations for painters, sculptors and printmakers and has played a distinguished role in the cultural life of Suffolk's county town since 1874.
Past members include Alfred Munnings, F.G.Cotman, Harry Becker, E.R.Smythe, Tom Smythe, Edward Packard, John Duvall, Colin Moss, Anna Airy and Leonard Squirrell.
As well as these regular events, from time to time we hold other exhibitions with partners and smaller groups of artists.
You don't have to be a practising artist to join us.
The Society welcomes all those who have an interest in the arts. Become a Friend and receive invitations to Private Views and other events while supporting the arts in the region.
