Pris Forrest was born in Malta but settled in Scotland, eventually attending Edinburgh College of Art, where she developed an interest in Printmaking. Moving with a young family to East Anglia, she worked as technician and tutor at the Art School in Suffolk College. She joined exhibiting groups which enabled her to exhibit abroad, locally and in London. She became preoccupied with Suffolk’s flat and watery landscape, also pursuing her interest in horses and music, all of which figure prominently in her work. She has a lifelong love of drawing, which she still teaches privately, and has her own printmaking studio in the Suffolk countryside.

Maggi studied at Ipswich School of Art from 1966 - 68, then at Croydon College of Art until 1971, becoming a Member of the Chartered Society of Designers. She has worked as a designer of textiles, graphics and museum exhibitions and after many years designing with the aid of computers she is now enjoying the manual process of printmaking and, in the words of printmaker Peter Green, ‘the workmanship of uncertainty’. She looks for the textures and patterns in Natural History collections, plants and landscapes and is inspired by the simplicity and economy of mid 20th century artists and designers.

Ali Hollingsworth would describe herself as a self-taught country-loving artist, who loves to create “stories” using paint, found objects, print and ephemera, textiles, and text, often within a box. She loves to paint, sew, print, and model so this medium suits her skills well. She is inspired by the work of Joseph Cornell and John Piper and is a devotee of Mr Finch who sews fantastical creatures in a modern way. Ali was born in Cornwall and lives in Suffolk. She exhibits her work on-line on Etsy, or works to commission.

Nicki Holt was born in London. She studied Illustration at Harrow School of Art and worked as a freelance illustrator for 17 years. She moved to Suffolk in 1989. Her main focus now is printmaking; sources of inspiration are plants, poetry, twilight, shadows, reflections, odd buildings, and the Suffolk landscape, layering her work with many textures. She makes etchings, collagraphs, relief prints, monoprints and collages which reflect an intense love of nature. She uses imagination to represent something she feels is the darker, mysterious side of the natural world. She has shown work in London and nowadays exhibits regularly in Suffolk.

Tammany is a self taught artist, based in Ipswich. Her practise has evolved through a variety of experimental methods, she is always searching for new inspiration but a fascination with portraiture frequently calls her back. She likes to work quickly, feeling her way around the subject with paint from the outset. Tammany's pieces have settled upon a style that demonstrates a love of strong tonal values and fluid use of oil paint, pulled or pushed across the surface to leave visible yet subtle brush marks.
