Beryl Scott
Artist Printmaker

After completing her Fine Art degree at Central St Martin’s College of Art specialising in printmaking and photo-media, Beryl Scott exhibited work in Hertfordshire, winning the print-making prize on two occasions in the Hertfordshire Open Touring Exhibition.

Moving to Ipswich Suffolk, in 1995, she gained an MA (Visual Practice and Context), at Suffolk College, Ipswich, (conferred by the University of East Anglia), and has exhibited in Suffolk and Norfolk. She now lives and works in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

Using traditional techniques: relief printmaking such as linocuts and experimenting with digital technology, Beryl Scott is interested in social and political history and her work often refers to the workplace and comments on contemporary issues.
