Anne Marie Oshelda

CV Studied for 3 years: Painting & Drawing and Art Foundation, at Sir John Cass School of Art in London / Whitechapel. Workshop with Ken Paine

Statement Developing my drawing abilities since childhood, my studies led me to explore the exciting possibilities of colour. I experiment with different methods and media, this allows my work to ‘stretch’ and evolve. I return to my usual medium – oil paints – with a fresh and exciting attitude.

My love, my experience and my insight with particular subject matters have inspired my equestrian - and wildlife paintings. However, I always come back to my favourite and most powerful - the sea, and it's marine subjects.

My aim is to continue exploring and to capture the spirit & movement of the subject matter in all my paintings. Music, another important part of me, and nature in its diversity, are the energy of my forever changing ideas.
